When activated and placed in the ground, sonic pulses will penetrate the soil, emitting a highly irritating sound for moles and gophers, who are sensitive to sound and vibrations. This spike can be left in the ground to repel new generations of pests, and features a removable battery sleeve for easy battery replacement. One spike will work for 4-6 months on a set of alkaline batteries. It must be used continuously for 7-14 days before moles and gophers start to move away from the area.
